Event and Non-Event (Constant) Video
Most events automatically trigger recording by an event button or a custom-wired trigger. In other scenarios, constant recording from ignition until turnoff ensures that no event is missed.
Non-Event (Constant) Video
Constant can be captured from vehicle ignition until turnoff (or even up to 24 hours after), and it is stored on the DVR storage device (SD Card or SSD).
Event Videos
Events can be triggered by an event button, GPS (speeding), hard braking or cornering (G-force sensor), or custom-wired triggers like PTOs or lightbars. These events take the time immediately before and after the event is activated and store them separately on the device until they are uploaded or transferred.
Automatic Wi-Fi or 4G Video Upload
Event videos automatically upload to your server or the cloud through a 4G or Wi-Fi connection – even across multiple locations or worksites. Vehicles connect via 4G or when they come back to the yard or garage at the end of a shift and come within range of your network’s wireless access points.
Eliminate the need to physically remove the DVR storage device (SD card or SSD) to download video footage. While event-based videos download automatically, the request tool allows administrators to select a vehicle, date and time to get footage that wasn’t already flagged as an event. With Connect, this is done on a PC with software installed, while CloudConnect allows requests from any device by authorized users.
Web-Based Access
With the convenience of web-based access, there is no need to worry about networks or having a PC nearby to access your files. You can quickly and easily request, watch and securely share videos from any device.
System Health Alerts
The last thing that fleet managers need to worry about is having an incident happen that wasn’t recorded. CloudConnect constantly monitors its operational status, and a dashboard monitor notifies you immediately of any issues, which helps you respond quickly in the event of a problem. This feature also eliminates the need for time-consuming manual system health audits and helps ensure that your vehicles are always on the road with a properly working video system.
E-mail Alerts
- Daily Transfer Summary: Shows files transferred from each vehicle in the past 24 hours. This can be sent to multiple preset email addresses. Daily sending time of email is configurable and only sent if new transfers occur.
- Daily Device Health Summary: Shows device events that occurred in the past 24hours. This can be sent to multiple preset email addresses. Daily sending time of email is configurable and only sent if new health events occur.
- Request confirmation emails to notify users that video requests have been completed.
Customizable User Management
With CloudConnect, multiple users can be granted access to the system so that they can share video files both internally and externally as needed. This saves time and reduces complexity when implementing controls to limit access to video files.
Live Camera Views
With a 4G Connection, you can access any of your connected camera images in real-time, which enables you to analyze the situation and respond quickly and effectively to avoid potential hazards and mitigate risk.
